3 Days, 2 Nights Maasai Mara Wildebeest Migration Private Safari
Enjoy a thrilling 3 days Masai Mara Safari tour starting and ending in Nairobi and using quality mid range safari lodges or tented camps, typically located inside or close to the main Maasai Mara National reserve. This 2 night, 3 day tour includes road transport from Nairobi with upto four private Safari game drives inside the reserve. The trip may also include extra options such as a visit to a Maasai village. Full day game drives can be had at no extra charge for the second day of the itinerary in Masai Mara.
The typical Safari Itinerary is listed below. Note that prices vary depending on the month or season of travel, with July to October being peak season while April to mid June is low season.
Overview
This tour is set at the Mara Serena Safari Lodge is perched high on a bush-cloaked hill with sweeping views of the savannah and the meandering shoreline of the Mara River.
The hotel lodge is designed in the style of a traditional Maasai Manyatta while offering every modern comfort. Neatly arranged rows of rooms and suites are positioned to offer uninterrupted river views from private balconies.

Day 1
Nairobi to Masai Mara
Pick up from Nairobi CBD in the morning at 8am and drive to Masai Mara through The Great African Rift Valley escarpment through Masai Town Narok. Arrive in time for lunch and check in at the camp and rest. Enjoy an Afternoon game drive as from 4pm – 6pm through the park in search of the Lion, Cheetah, Elephant, Buffalo and other members of the Big five plus other animals. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.
Day 2
Masai Mara to Mara River
Have Breakfast by 7am and leave for full day game drive with packed lunch: Comprehensive game drive to view the wildlife and a visit to the Mara River famous for the wildebeest migration. Have lunch by the river and proceed with the game drive until 4pm.
Return to Camp for dinner and overnight.Day 3
Masai Mara to Nairobi
Breakfast, check out at the camp and prepare for the safari back to Nairobi. (You can opt to visit the local Masai village to enjoy their music and dance and visit the huts to learn about their way of life extra $ 20 per person.)Arrive in Nairobi at around 4pm, drop off at Nairobi CBD.
