Day 1
Arrival in Moshi
Begin your adventure by arriving in Moshi, the gateway to Mount Kilimanjaro.

Settle into your accommodation and attend a detailed briefing and gear check by your guides to prepare for the climb.

Relax and soak in the excitement of the journey ahead.
Day 2
Machame Gate to Machame Camp
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, drive to Machame Gate (approximately 1 hour).
  
  Complete park registration and begin your trek.
- Trekking:
  
  Hike through lush rainforest on a well-marked trail, enjoying the vibrant flora and fauna.
  
  Trek approximately 11 kilometers (7 miles), which usually takes around 5-7 hours.
- Evening:
  
  Arrive at Machame Camp, set up your tent, and enjoy dinner.
  
  Overnight at Machame Camp (2,980 meters/9,700 feet).
Day 3
Machame Camp to Shira Camp
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, begin your ascent to Shira Camp.
- Trekking:
  
  Ascend through moorland, enjoying panoramic views of the mountain.
  
  Trek approximately 5-8 kilometers (3-5 miles), taking around 4-6 hours.
- Afternoon:
  
  Arrive at Shira Camp (3,840 meters/12,570 feet), where you can explore the surroundings.
- Evening:
  
  Dinner and overnight at Shira Camp.
Day 4
Shira Camp to Barranco Camp
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, continue your trek towards Barranco Camp.
- Trekking:
  
  Hike through the Shira Plateau, then descend into the Barranco Valley.
  
  Trek approximately 10 kilometers (6 miles), taking around 6-8 hours.
- Afternoon:
  
  Arrive at Barranco Camp (3,960 meters/13,000 feet) and enjoy stunning views of the Great Barranco Wall.
- Evening:
  
  Dinner and overnight at Barranco Camp.
Day 5
Barranco Camp to Karanga Camp
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, tackle the ascent of the Great Barranco Wall.
- Trekking:
  
  Enjoy the views as you climb the wall and then continue to Karanga Camp.
  
  Trek approximately 7 kilometers (4 miles), taking around 4-5 hours.
- Afternoon:
  
  Arrive at Karanga Camp (4,030 meters/13,200 feet) and relax.
- Evening:
  
  Dinner and overnight at Karanga Camp.
Day 6
Karanga Camp to Barafu Camp
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, continue your ascent to Barafu Camp.
- Trekking:
  
  Trek approximately 8 kilometers (5 miles), taking around 4-5 hours through alpine desert terrain.
- Afternoon:
  
  Arrive at Barafu Camp (4,680 meters/15,400 feet) and rest before the summit attempt.
- Evening:
  
  Early dinner and prepare for the summit ascent. Get plenty of rest.
Day 7
Summit Day - Barafu Camp to Uhuru Peak
- Midnight:
  
  Start your ascent to Uhuru Peak (5,895 meters/19,341 feet) around midnight.
- Trekking:
  
  Hike in the dark, using headlamps, taking breaks as needed.
  
  Reach Stella Point (5,756 meters/18,885 feet) at dawn, then continue to Uhuru Peak.
- Morning:
  
  Arrive at Uhuru Peak, celebrate your achievement, and take photos.
- Descent:
  
  Begin your descent back to Barafu Camp for a brief rest.
- Afternoon:
  
  Continue down to Mweka Camp (3,100 meters/10,170 feet) for the night.
- Evening:
  
  Celebrate with your team at dinner and enjoy a well-deserved rest.
Day 8
Mweka Camp to Mweka Gate and Departure
- Morning:
  
  After breakfast, descend to Mweka Gate (approximately 10 kilometers/6 miles, taking around 3-4 hours).
- Afternoon:
  
  Arrive at the gate, complete park formalities, and receive your summit certificates.
  
  Transfer back to Moshi for a celebratory lunch.
- Evening:
  
  Relax and enjoy your final evening in Moshi, reflecting on your adventure.
Additional Tips:
- Preparation: Ensure you have proper gear for climbing, including sturdy hiking boots, warm clothing, and rain gear.
- Acclimatization: Take your time during the trek to acclimatize properly to avoid altitude sickness.
- Health & Safety: Stay hydrated and follow your guide’s instructions throughout the trek.
